Marseille/Dakar: reactivated cooperation |

The twinning agreement signed with Dakar in 1968 was reactivated through various cooperation actions focusing on culture, town planning, health and safety. On the last topic, Marseille’s marine fire fighting battalion (BMPM) and the national group of firemen from Senegal joined forces on the train-the-trainer section looking at hydrocarbon and ship fires. Over the next few weeks, the Senegalese firemen will be welcomed in Marseille to make this action a reality.
