- The CMCA, which grouped together television and audiovisual players from the Mediterranean Basin , has an ongoing objective to actively participate in moves to strengthen the specific features of the Mediterranean audiovisual sector, to encourage the production and distribution of documentaries and to promote the best audiovisual productions concerning the Mediterranean.

- The CMCA has set up a daily regional exchange of reports between Mediterranean television channels: ENTV Algeria, RTM Morocco , ERTT Tunisia, LJB Libya, ERTU Egypt, PSSC Palestine, TRT Turkey, ERT Greece, HRTV Croatia, Rai Italy , FT3 France 3 Méditerranée, TVE Spain, ASBU (Arab States Broadcasting Union), etc.

- Furthermore, France 3 Méditerranée created “Mediterraneo” in 1994, a Mediterranean news magazine produced in conjunction with Rai Palerme and several other television channels from the region. This magazine, which is made up of several reports on cultural issues and current affairs, is broadcast each week by the partner channels.
